Hi Rexy , Yes I have a successful mount which can swivel for passenger viewing without hindering the driver or when stopped , it can be turned towards the driver or both . If you have an 80 series I can help .

Check out Ram Mounts, they have some fancy mounts but the good ones look expensive.
Don't know the web site but there is a link from www.gpsoz.com.au.
Please post the results of your research.
My husband has designed a table that clips into the open glove box of our 4wd but the prototype is too low and is uncomfortable for the passenger.
The RAM ones mount somehow to the seat mounting points and can support both the GPS and Notebook PC.
We used oziexplorer software in movingmap mode with a Garmin II Plus GPS on the weekend with interesting results.

Thanks alot guys n girls. i did an archive search for "lap top mounting brackets" but DER me i didnt think of looking for "table".....idiot lol........actually Eric it was looking at your list of toys that got me thinking about it. My biggest problem is i have a Surf (dont hit me)....im saving up for a bigger tonka truck. and as it is based obn the hilux design there isnt a lot of room in the passenger seat. Ill have a look around and do a bit more reseach and ill post what i find.

Thanks again guys have a good one
