Hello all,
I am brand new at camping and 4wheel driving, I am hoping that someone may have heard of a brand of camper trailer and can help on what they think of them, I have seen one at their premises in
Perth, they produce a very solid trailer (I am a boilermaker by trade). Perhaps the most solid I have seen. Canvas work appears to be of a high quality; however I have not seen or heard of them anywhere.
I have seen and am familiar with Wandering Star campers and also Camprite, both are of a very high standard.
Can anyone help?
Also, thanks for such the valuable resource this site is.

You should have specified a limit on the spending for your trailer as I have seen them second hand from about 2 grand up to 30 grand for the top of the line blah blah blah. I haven't heard of any problem with Wandering Star or Camprite trailers but will put you onto a man who builds the roof top campers who may be able to point you in the right direction. His name is Bob and he owns Rhino Campers in Kelmscott which I must say build some ripper roof top campers. (no he is not a relation just credit where it is due). This man has been around for a while and may be of good service to you.
Enjoy when you've got it,keep of the bitumen and good luck

Hi Sam013,
You should consider hiring a Camper before purchasing. It's amazing what you learn to like & dislike after you use it once.
I recently purchased a second hand, very basic Aussie Swag camper (hard floor type). A few things that I dislike about this particular model (it's a 92 model)
No access to storage when trailer is closed, to access the storage the bedding gets quite disturbed.
Packing up a wet camper is not fun either !
Good Luck
