Fix for low seats in GU Patrol??

Does anybody know of a method to fix the low
seat height in a 1998 GU Patrol. Im interested in buying one but my partner cant see over the bonnet. I believe Nissan have now added height adjusters to the new model. Any suggestions for a fix to the old low seats(other than buying new seats)??

I own a 4.2 Turbodiesel GU Patrol, and a friend of
mine has a new series GU with the level adjuster.
There are several things you can do.
You can replace the
seat base for the one in the series 2, or if you dont want to keep adjusting it you can add
spacers to the mounting base.
You could also go to a recaro retailer or an ARB
shop and see if you can get the base for the
aftermarket seats.
