Well I have been on the road for seven months now and have got some reallly, really valuable advice from all the members along the way. Every mechanic that has been recommeded has been brilliant (especially Fitzy in
Port Augusta, the best service reasonable prices... the best our hilux has ever been was when we drove out of Port).
Now we are headed to
Darwin where we'll need a big service after tackling the
Gibb River Road. Can anyone suggest someone???

As you are on the road, may I ask how you connect to the internet?
Are you going to internet cafes, or do you have a mobile setup?

We tend to visit local libraries when we can to use the internet. Sometimes they allow free access to the internet or a cheaper cost than internet cafes. The telecentres in WA are also a lot cheaper for internet access as are local community centres.
