If that's the case then here's the program for Sunday (Anzac Day):
Gunfire Breakfast (pre-dawn) in the Park
Dawn Parade at the Memorial Park
Breakfast in the Park
9:30 a.m. Assemble Outside Hotel
9:50 a.m. March to memorial Park
10:00 a.m. Service begins
10:30 a.m. Morning tea at Hall (with eskies)
12:00 Noon Over the road when the Pub opens to play two-up for the afternoon.
Bring your medals and good clothes ready to march.
If anyone wants to lay a special wreath then bring one with you please.

Don't forget that no water has been near Eyre Creek at all. Bring your yabbie pots though. See you then.

Richard, you were in town on Good Friday - by law the Hotel must be closed. You were able to get fuel by just asking the owner, I wasn't closed by you didn't come over here!!

Raining here in Melbourne today.... Sounding very hot in downtown Birdsville.
We went to the Birdsville studio on Ruth's advice and bought a lovely picture of the Birdsville Hotel from there.

As a bonus, with my Exploroz card, I did get a free coffee and fantastic Sticky Date pudding and Ice cream for free - lovely stuff. Don't miss it when you are in Birdsville and don't forget your Exploroz Card!

Hope it is getting cooler in Birdsville.

Cheers

Andrew

OK Andrew, make sure you put some yabbie pots in - otherwise don't worry I will lend you mine - just got back from checking them and have the boiler on now - yabbies for entree tonight (cooked them in a broth with plenty of garlic, yum yum) - pity Mr Toonfish wasn't here to make a beautiful sauce for me. Supply truck came in yesterday so having fresh green vegetables with pork chops as well. MMMMMmmmm. Don't forget to get in Friday early as Happy Hour is 6:00 p.m. (EST) at the Pub - party snacks come out at 6:20 (EST).
