Hi Everyone,
I am planning to take my family up to
Double Island Point and
Rainbow Beach over the May Day weekend and would like to hear from anyone who has been up in recent weeks as to
the beach condition etc. I have heard that it has been badly eroded by recent large seas but wanted to see if I could get some first hand info. I understand that Mudlo Rocks at
Rainbow Beach are quite exposed and hazardous at present.

Whatever the conditions are now, they will be different next week, and different again by the May Day weekend.
Play it safe, know the tides and stay away from
the beach after mid tide (rising).
