Treading Lightly
Can any suggest a Tafe Course on Navigation / Map Reading covering old techniques as
well as GPS. I live in the Penrith area.

Getabout 4WD run a 1 day navigation course for $110. It is excellent. It is also competancy based and accredited so you get to practice what they preach.
Well worthwhile.

Treading Lightly,
If you are interested in joining a 4wd club the Toyota Lancruiser Club (
Sydney) has got a course on Navagation and Map reading which is very informative and practical. They also have a fully acredited
driver training course and are now also a registerd training organisation and can issue there own certificates. It may work out cheaper in the long run as you get all the benefits of the club.
