At the risk of sounding like a real newbie - I have found a fantastic site for trip planning.

Its an online version of the Natmap / Satmap images. I reckon it would be a bit of a slog for dialup but works
well on broadband.
The first time you hit the site you will need to download an ActiveX control. Strangely there is no link back to the correct page so you have to go to the site a second time and you will get access to the images.
Its a very nifty site.

GaryW the plug-in is an ECW plug-in, not an ActiveX plug-in.

That will teach me to take notice of the install dialogue box that says "Installing ActiveX control" *grin* - I'm easily lead.

Fantastic tool. Good for seeing some more detail of coastal and water features.
