Hey everyone,

Can anyone help me out here ?? I have a Toyota 4Runner SR5 1990 Model Engine us a 4YE .

I have been looking around for a Snorkel from Safari website and they say that they do not make a Snorkel for my model .

Does anyone know where i could get a Aftermarket one or do you know if the earlier one would fit my 4WD??

The air fliter is on the right hand side of the 4WD.

Maybe someone on here know's someone that can custom make me one ??

Any help would be great thank s

Stephen

Ring my wby mechanic - Dave Jones from 4x4 Excellence - he put me on to an aftermarket AIr Tech snorkel (and not badly priced...)

call him on 07 3881 3434. maybe he can be of assistance and point you in the right direction...seems to know his stuff.

good luck

Stephen,
Ive got a 93 smurf mobile, its a 2.4 T/D and when they went to fit the Safari snorkel the found the 2.4 snorkel wouldnt fit due to the slope of the gurads etc. However they tried a 2.8 snorkel and it fitted perfectly....Hope this helps

Yeah but the 2.4 2L-TE motor has the airbox on the left side, not the right. I think you could have a bit of a struggle there, I had the same problem on my Rocky. But have a good look around and don't let people tell you it can't be done, because it can, it always can! ;-)
Good luck.
