Get the turbo looked at NOW. If it is noisy something is wrong and the chances of it doing even more damage are significant.

Yep still alive mate, you can see above why! Well she has got her own set of keys so there you go. What tricks me is how she turned blid eye on the bunch of parts lying around the car and the bonnet not properly closed. Well anyway what is done is done. Engine didn't suffer damage that is the main thing.

Sounds like an entry in the OilSafe competition to me. Click on the flashing WIN OilSafe thingy and enter that story - it is a little off to main core of the comp but you will never know if you do not have a go, and it is free.

Nows the timeto upgrade that turbo - you have a reason :-)

Hey Dragan, hopefully the engine bearings haven't suffered too much, but if the turbo is noisy then the bearings in it are most likely scored and stuffed. You can either get the turbo re-built , or just get new bearings put in. You might be able to pick up one s/h from an importers cheap but it's condition will be just as unknown.

Get the turbo looked at asap and make sure you change the oil filter every 500ks for a while. Keep the revs low and the turbo off boost for now.. good luck. Brad.

Thanx for the advice and support everyone! Looks like nothing will have to be changed afterall!!! Turbo checked out OK, just a bit more of wear and tear it had than usual, it will still be pumping for a while!
