Does anyone know where I can get steel side steps made up for a 90 series Prado in
Melbourne for a reasonable price (i.e. less than $500). Preferably someone that has done this sort of thing before. I know it is not that hard to make myself but I can't weld.
Any info welcome
Kelly

The best guy around is a member of the Toyota Landcruiser Club in NSW.
He trades as Col's Super Steps and all the members and hard core guys rave above the quality.
I know that they were $680.00 fitted for a 100 series
His phone is (02) 9548-2727

I make sliders, for sill protection, and a step for 90 series prado's, but not for under $500 Im afraid, you would only get a step for that...
We do 100 IFS ones as
well, and our prado 90 and 120 series rear bumpers arent far off either.

Gday Kelly
ARB made up
mine for a NM Pajero over here in the west. Around the $400 mark from memory. Hope it helps.

Thanks for responses. I have spoken to Col in NSW and I have seen his work which is of high quality and finish but it gets a bit expensive and involved to send
the steps down to
Melbourne.
Guess I'll keep looking:)

G'day Bernie
Are there any photos of
the steps that I can have a look at on this
forum. Not having much luck getting someone to weld. Have spoken to TJM and a few Bullbar
places again with no luck.

Kellyc,
I got sidesteps made up for my 75 series done by a truck body builder for $450 fitted. I was the same as you, not prepared to pay the rediculus prices that TJM and ARB etc wanted. So try a body builder in
melbourne and a think you'll be supprised. Other advantage is that you can get it made to order.
Cheers,
Hughesy
