Solar Panels

I was wondering if it is OK to leave you solar panels in the sun with out them hooked up to some thing that _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx power IE:Charging a battery or running a fridge etc...........

Be careful as your solar panel might cause some reflection from the sun and annoy near by campers.

But seriously good question, I guess it depends on weather there is any kind of power regulator attached to it or not. I suppose the voltage comming out of the solar panel would be pretty small anyway, I wouldn't see any problem with it, but have never owned any, so I may be wrong.

You will not damage the panels if left out in the weather without being connected to any power source. Just make sure there is no risk of shorting out the connection terminals otherwise you will damage the bi-pass diodes. Cheers.
