For all the weather buffs (didn't want to say freaks)
Birdsville had an unusual phenomenom yesterday - 0.6mm of precipitation and then the temperature plummeted (as it does in
the desert) so we had a gidyea fire last night and this a.m. have a complete whiteout - FOG. Be funny really but we've had more moisture out of the dripping fog than the rain. It's all we've had since Christmas sowe think it's great. Bob Y. from up north messaged to say they've had heaps. Good news.
