I wan,t to know if there is anywhere else that I can get toyota prado accessories for my new 2004 prado as the genuine toyota accessories are rather over priced & believe are made by ERG in queensland & do they only sell to toyota dealers.
Am looking for a Dust guard, front door & rear door visors for both sides of vehicle.
Also who does sheepskins for the new prado,s front & rear seat.

Good thing GO_OFFROAD is here to offer such good advice. You could see if your local 4wd shop knows of anything, my sister in law works in the accessories section of a Toyota dealer, I'll ask her for you. I do know that they source a heap of stuff from their local Opposite Lock store.

Well when the person cant tell you what area they are in, what dealer they use, and it seems they have tried some places already, apart from asking your sister, what other advice could you recommend, apart from searching the net? And dont forget a shipping price, in case he isnt in the town where your sister works ;-)

Oh, from your reply, no other advice yet.......ic

Well asking my sister in law for advice on what supplier around australia supplys thrid party accessories for Toyotas when she works for a Toyota dealer ordering the accessories for 4wd's I personally would have thought was helpful. I'm petty sure that they were already aware of yellowpages.com.au.

See, youve missed the underlying message in such a simple reply, obviously he is already on the net, and is using one forum here to try and gain some information, but unfortunately, he didnt give us enough information to point out a supplier someone would know close by, so the yellow pages wasnt just a "go look at yellow pages" but a "go search the net a bit further", so you can find something close to home ;-)

David

Depending what state you are in try contacting different toyota dealers and get them to quote on package price my SR5 hilux had accesories supplied by Lander toyota in NSW Penrith toyota was around 30% more expensive.

Might not work in all cases but worth a shot otherwise save up and get slugged by toyota again.

Good luck
