There's something wrong with the search fuction at the moment (maybe Truckster can help LOL). I wanted to find some folllow up on questions I had asked and typed in "Jimbo", got nothing. So I then typed in "Engel" (just to test it) and expecting about 3000 responses I got 6. Am I doing something wrong, has something changed, it has always worked well in the past..

Jim.

Jimbo, do you have to ask the question, "maybe something is wrong with the search engine". I'm sure if you go back through the search engine this question will have been asked before. Or are you trying to upset our number one forumite "Truckster"...............Sorry, couldn't help this comment.

THe search now only checks in the current database view you are using so if you are viewing active posts you will only search active posts. I am re-writing the top search to make the Sort By Display and the Active/Archive/both selection be part of the primary search section. It will be done on Monday or Tuesday.

If you find a bug or have a request for the forum searching tel lme over the weekend in this thread please.

Thanks David,

If I'd taken the time to read your note I wouldn't have had a problem.

It works well.

Thanks,

Jim.
