We are proposing a trip to the
corner country from
Broken Hill to the
corner country and Innaminka. The car we will travel in is a Magna which is in VG condition Two years ago we came down the
Oodnadatta track with no problems also
Coober Pedy to
William Creek with no problems,
How does the proposed trip compare, any comments would be appreciated.

The roads from Tibboorburra to Innaminka via Cameron's Cnr & Moomba would be no more difficult or isolated than the
Oodnadatta track. Taken steady & with the usual preparations a car should have little problem. (if it doesn't rain) Craig......

Hell......roads vary in condition so much through there, depending on maintenance and weather patterns....if clearance presents no problems I feel sure the surfaces in some
places will play havoc with your tyres.....better have at least two spares and some coms for back-up. It has rained up there recently....you could find washouts that have been ungraded.....dust washed away exposing kilometres of stones....or it could be great ! ....you just need to be able to cope with what you find at any particular time.

Ralvona,
a car is fine on that trip (many locals use standard cars).
Keep speed down on rougher stuff, have enough spares, and watch clearance of sump on dips and rises.
