Hi has any one had trouble with and 80series fuel tank sender. Mind indicates full at all times, only started doing it 3weeks ago. Also whats the easiest way to get it out. do i have to remove tank from 4by to get at it.Any help would be gr8 as i am going away in 4weeks and i need it fixed.

Depends which tank it is.
If it's the sub tank it's easy to get to - simply lift up the carpet and lining in the cargo area, and it all sits under a plug in the floor (basically the connection is from the top of the tank).
If it's the main tank, you may have to pull the tank out, though I have no experience with the main one (I know about the sub tank as we found all this out when putting the LR tank in).

Its the main tank and if im out in the rough stuff it will work 4 a little while then go back 2 reading full

Munny,
Had the same problem. The sender unit got stuck when one of the baffles moved and held the float in the full postion. I got into the tank via the inspection plate in the back
seat area. Lift the carpet and you shouild find it.
I hope I am not to late with the info but I have been away all weekend.
