Is the Discover Oz/Mapsend cd only made for the magellan range of GPS?

Yes, only with the Magellan range.

Fraid so because I bought it and it is useless to me at the moment untill I buy Magellan Equipment :-(

Sounds like a good excuse to buy a Magellen GPS! I have no complaints about
mine so far.
You can still have fun with the CD on your computer though.
