How often should the fuel filter on a 2H be changed.( I don't have any problems, and I know about draining the water trap should the light come on).

When I had a 2H powered cruiser I'd get in the habit of draining the sedimenter/water trap every couple of weeks as they do and will rust out if the water is left in there. Depending on where you are refuelling from (drums,
farm tank etc) you can probably get away with changing fuel filters every 10k if buying fuel from reputable servo's or less if refilling/operating in dirty conditions. A restricted/blocked fuel filter can creep up on you as you don't notice the drop in performance till you change the filter. I sometimes went 20k between changes but this was rare.
