Hi all...

After selling the troopy in January, we miss 4wding too much. We are thinking of a dualcab. Any opinions on the best model, year etc. We are looking to buy up to 10 year old.

We saw a 1994 hilux 2.8D 315000km air, pwr steer at Penrith for $13990. Is this too much or about right?

With the leaf suspension, what shape should the front springs roughly be?

Thanks in advance...

One would ask, why are they selling it? Answer 315000kms. At that many k's the springs are probably the opposite shape than what they should be.

just my 2 bob's worth

front springs are flat on these vehicles if that is what you mean - they dont have a bow in them. VERY harsh ride wear a kidney belt. (I have driven a few for work relitively low ks all have flat front springs)
