hi all,
I don't want to start a fridge debate. I want to know which compressor is better and why. Danfoss or Sawafuji Swing Motor. Yes,I have read the archives. Thanks.

Bernie, it's very hard to compare compressor motors without a fridge other than to say if you do need repairs I would suspect the Danfoss would be cheaper to replace and more readily available in Oz. Power usage & reliability has probably more to do the fridge design than the brand of compressor. Cheers Craig........

call me an old fashion fridgie ...but i would go for the danfoss mainly due to the lack of electronics over the swing compressor requirements.
