When it rains or there's a heavy dew water drips from poptop onto the roof. The sound is incessant and annoying. All I know of is the previous owner had strips of old carpet to put on the roof (which I'm sure is uninsulated on the old Viscount to add to the druminess). Hoping someone knows a better idea?

Thanks

Have the van slightly lower at the end away from your bed, it only needs to be a half inch and the sound will at least be a bit duller...or as I do , carry ear plugs, many a rainy night has passed without me hearing a drop of it...cheers

I put small cords on the corners of my old Viscount that were attached to the roof by sikaflex.
They were just the right length and folded neatly ( almost ) out of the way when the top was down.

The drops ran down the cord and I got some great sleeps

Ah, so simple. Can see it fixed. I appreciate your thoughts - and relaying them.

Thanks
