I will upload a small piccy of the Honda in the next week or so. But really, it's nothing special, besides the stuff I've tacked onto the outside.
Anyone remeber the Delorean from "Back To The Future"?........

I just can't help myself, I won't be happy 'till I can't see out of the rear window.......

Welcome,
We used our Freelander offroad for 2 years before we bought our Troopy. Did a lot of club trips and went anywhere a Disco could go except for the real lumpy stuff where we ran out of ground clearance or the real steep stuff that needed low ratio 1st but on the trips we did, it was not often that we did need a tow or alternate route.
Soft offroaders are under-rated for off road use and , espcially in mud where their lack of weight helps.
You learn a few tricks to survive with no low ratio and an auto helps. Also carrying a couple of snatch straps plus having rated tow hooks helps a lot along with a friend or two to help recover you.
In my experience, you can go a long way in a soft off roader, then get stuck. You can go further in a standard Troopy, Patrol, etc and get stuck. Then you can go even further in a modified Troopy, patrol, etc and get real stuck real bad and have to use self recovery as no-one can get as far as you to recover yourself.
Have fun
Stevesub
