My Dometic 3way fridge in my caravan doesn't work on gas. The van is only 20 months old and when we tried it on gas for the first time it didn't work.
the pilot light is on, so there is gas coming through, the visual indicator at the front of the fridge is showing the gas working (it sits in the green zone as required). I know that the fridge needs to be level and when we did try it the van was as level as possible. The fridge works really
well on 240V and 12V, so I'm at a loss. Could it be a bloked burner or something similar??
I look forward to any response.
Cheers,

Struck this problem once.
It was the gas thermostat not switching the burner to full flame.
Replaced it & it was fine.
Pulled the old one apart & found the moving parts inside were a bit frozen up with corrosion, presumably from moisture sitting in the line.
Simple to
check. Just watch the size of the flame while someone turns the thermostat up & down.
Cheers.
