I've just run a trip for LROCWA up through the GCR, David Carnegie, Gary Hwy and Talawana track to get to the Rudall River NP and before leaving rang the aboriginal community at Parnngurr (Cotton Creek) re fuel supplies.
I spoke to Ben the community coordinator (08 9176 9009) and he advised diesel was available at $3.20 a litre.
We camped a short distance away from the community to avoid arriving on Sunday and disturb their meetings and church etc. and went in on the Monday.
Ben and others there were pleased to supply the fuel and there was plenty of fresh veg and fruit plus frozen meat etc. for sale.
I thought this might help others with their trip planning if going that way or along the CSR.
