Easy going to Empress Springs with sand and graded track. Empress Springs
well worth a look if you are game to climb down the steel chain ladder. Track steadily deteriorates after this with some very slow
rock sections, a lot of dead camels in some of the better camping spots. An interesting diversity of environments, some quite sepctacular, with a long 70km exposed section with few suitable spots to
camp.
Time your run through to ensure you
camp before the barren section. Mungillia Claypan an ineteresting spot and the Gunbarrel heading west looks very inviting.
