Can anyone tell me if Bucketts Way is suitable for a 21ft caravan.

Even though the Bucketts Way is a good 2 lane road....and many trucks use it ...not far out of
Gloucester is the biggest mother of a
hill you're likely to ever encounter.
Nice scenery though, and fairly winding road, but your choice !

BTW, Bucketts Way changes at
Gloucester to Thunderbolts Way if you are wanting to travel north....Bucketts Way loops back over to
Taree ..

I'd be a little wary of doing the Thunderbolts Way in a caravan - you could do it, however a couple of big mother climbs...... and plenty of tight corners...

Its a nice run up Thunderbolts way and lots of caravans use it. yes there is one big
hill but it no worse than some others over the range, I live in Karuah and use it a lot towing a van.

As always travel to the conditions & you'll be ok........ There are a few hills to climb, travelling South to North is a LOT easier on the brakes than North to South, enjoy your trip.
There is a great
free camp just out of
Gloucester,
Bretti Reserve.... top spot
