Review: Dunns Swamp Campground

My Place Rating: My Rating 5/5

Visiting Dunn's Swamp in September is special due to the yellow of the wattle, Acacia filicifolia and the white trunks of the scribbly gum, Eucalyptus rossii. We were surprised to witness a matting display from a Musk Duck who was flapping and whistling. This was witnessed from Platypus Point so at first we thought it was a strange looking platypus! The walking tracks are well worth the effort and the rock formations with lichens in different colours are spectacular. There is a form which allows credit card detail if you forget to take cash. Cost is $5 pp per night with excellent drop toilets.
