Review: Lowden Forest Park

Large open grassed areas set amongst forest (generally natural, with a few pines). There are a couple of very short walks, a bit of forestry history to look at, but not much else to do here. Facilities include fire places, covered picnic tables and separate male/female pit toilets. There is a small creek nearby but you'll need to bring your own drinking water. Suitable for tents, camper trailers and sensible-sized caravans.
