I live in
Darwin and coming to
Perth in the next week. Can anyone tell me whether
Black Point is accessible from Stewart Road at this time of the year. I went down there many years ago and can remember it being very wet and swampy in sections.
Thanks
Neil

Great spot. Access from Stewart Rd via
Black Point Rd is seasonal. Need to get in contact with the local rangers for when the road is open.
Black Point
Access from the West and East is open all year but much longer.
If towing
Black Point Rd is the way to go, possible other ways but you have to be very keen as the hills can be long, sandy and very dug up, at least in summer when we last visited.

Neil.
'Please be advised that
Black Point Track, from
Black Point Road to Woodaburrup Road/Wapet Track, within D’Entrecasteaux National Park has been closed due to inundation caused by the recent heavy rain.
The track will be closed to at least 30 November dependent on the level of water level in the inundated areas.
For further information please contact the Parks and Wildlife Donnelly District office in Pemberton on (08) 9776 1207.'
Copied this from the DPAW site. Then phone number listed should be helpful.
