I’m in process to buy new hard shell roof top camper from MadCamp in WA. Please, does

anyone have experience with quality and reliability of this exact camper?

Danna, i looked at buying one of those RTT but decided against it. I read articles from people who have the same one but has a different name. The problem with that type of RTT is that wind up mechanism are prone to fail. Also when driving on corrugated roads the wind up mechanism rubs against the canvas and puts holes in it. I ended up buying a Hannibal Impi RTT which uses gas struts to lift the lid.
Also the Madcamper RTT sold under another name on ebay sell for several hundred dollars less.

I appreciate your reply.
It is so confusing which one to buy. I know I definitely don't want full canvas RTT. They sell HRTT on ebay much, much cheaper, but not many people probably realise the width is only 1250mm or max. 1300mm. That's too squeezy for two adults. Than there is this video on youtube:

The guy in obviously straggling to close the thing .......

I would love to hear from someone who have exactly the one I'm in process of buying.
