Hi im planing a trip from the central coast to
Gloucester,i was thinking of going to Nabiac and then going inland to
Gloucester and then onto
Bretti Reserve. As i have never been up this way and the rig is 17mts long is this the best way to go,your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't have any issues - the road to Krambach is fairly lumpy in parts, but the local council is (slowly) doing something about it (re-sealed up to the
intersection before Dyers Crossing). Once you're on the Bucketts Way, no great issue, just some hills & twisty bits - just take it easy.

Look at the Trek Notes - plently of caravans get in there. In fact, I'd avoid it like the plague during scho0l holidays and long week-ends - you couldn't get a cigarette paper between some of the rigs when it gets full - worse than
Sydney Harbour on new years eve.... I've driven past when it's full and wondered how that's someones idea of "getting away from it all" - off holidays it's fine.

I have been there a few times from the central coast and I personally wouldn't go via Nabiac....unless you have lots of time and would prefer the longer way ?
I normally go up the hwy and turn off onto the Bucketts Way and follow it all the way to
Gloucester, then onto
Bretti reserve.

Basically he is, he is just going in from the north end. However he is taking a short cut and going in from Nabiac to Krambach.
See link. A lot depends upon which way he is approaching. I come in from the south and use that road as a short cut to
Uralla with my van.

Gloucester,looks good.

Or go via Nabiac - charming little town - couple of nice coffee shops / cafe's, bit of arts & craft, and the
National Motorcycle Museum - good spot for morning tea / lunch and a leg stretch.
