We are at
Meredith Park and looking for a
free camp area towards
Cape Otway or Toward
Melbourne. . Vic Parks are now charging $35 per night. No power or water

Vic GOVCO should be terribly ashamed of charging $35 to
camp with no facilities (I don't blame Vic Parks,
well not those at the frontline), it was once a basic Aussies right to
camp in this fantastic country, now there too much bureaucracy.
Sure, if
services are provided, then charges are more than expected.
They tried to get lower charges for
bush camping, on foot with own tent etc all carried in, think it got in but maybe less that the $19 a night I think was originally proposed !!
