What is the rating/output of the alternator on a 1HZ in a series 75.

output depends on how flat the battery is. alternator will charge more if the battery is flat, less if fully charged.

Early ones had a 75 amp alternator. &8 series have a 110 amp job, but I don't know when the cutover was.

Rob,,dont know about the otput of the 1hz ,,but the racq has a web site that may be able to give you a definative answer thru there q/a section, as we needed to know the otput of our alt in our ford explorer,,took less than an hr for the reply,work hrs, to be emailed to us,,130amp in auto and 95 amp in manuals ,1500 revs +,,regulated 14.3 volts, amps as required to maintain full battery at all times,,,,Axel.
