Would love to hear folks' opinions about good value spots to take the camper van down south. We live in
Perth. Doesn't have to be in a caravan park, we are very happy with
bush camping.

Sam, I live in the Sth of WA, heaps of spots..... Walpole Porongurups , and all around the Sth Coast for summer spots, and inland parks in winter.
My suggestion is to invest in the "Wikicamps" app, and hzve a look.

Hi Maric,
this link will take you our
Places section on ExplorOz -
LINK which I have refined to show results only for CAMPS - WA - SOUTH WEST. On this page, you can view all results by map or by a text list. Browse through the list of camps and see each has its own page with GPS positions (downloads available to Members), descriptions, photos, reviews and other info (provided by other campers from the EO community).

We stayed at Wharnecliffe Mill which is about 5 mins out of Margaret River township. Nice tall timber and with the environment in mind it was a terrific place to stay.
