Hi All,
How do I
check if the front diff breather of my series III, 3.0TD GU patrol is clear?
I follow the breather hose from the diff to the firewall and up and then it disappears into the L/H guard with 2 other pipes. Do I pull off the hose at the diff, or is there another way?
Thanks
Rob

Remove the inner guard and follow it from there up to where ever it goes..

When i fitted the
snorkel , found that the pipes you describe finished buried in a block of sponge that is removed when the
snorkel is fitted. The pipes now finish in thin air! One day i'll get around to fitting a hose on 'em. You access them as truckster describes- take note how the plastic things comes off. Maybe you could attach a hose at this end and take off hose from diff and blow???

Thanks
Will have another good look on the weekend and see what can be done.
Removing inner guard sounds like a lot of work just to
check a breather.
