Flighty ( WA )
hello all
I have a 2005 79R landcruiser factory fitted with the 1HDT-FTE engine @ 170 k.
Question for the
well informed is whether or not a scan gauge type unit can be fitted to these units ?
Am led to believe they are quite accurate and a fairly reliable for many different uses in the running cost's and performance of vehicles, so am interested in knowing any Plus or minus
views on them.
So if you have one fitted to your vehicle I would appreciate your thoughts.
As this vehicle is not fitted with an OBD port, are there other options available for fitment ?
Cheers & Regards
Flighty

OBII started in the 200 series I believe If you go to the scangauge site it tells you what they will fit into.

For starters the scan gauge plugs into an OBD2 port and you do not have one - also I dont believe that vintage of diesel toyotas are OBD2 compliant which Scan Gauge uses.
