Dometic RM2553 3 way fridge thermostat replacement.

Urgent help required i have removed the fridge and found the thermostat Problem how to remove the sender wire [Dometic no help] will need to remove the caravan door and fittings to get the fridge out of the van if i have to take to a repairer thanks mal b

How old is the unit, does it have a mechanical type thermostate, if so and it is similar
to the older ones you just remove the electrical connections & the gas lines.
Then unclip the thermostate bulb from the evaporator and pull it back through the back
of the fridge.

The van is a jayco heritage 2006 the thermostat is as you describe have removed all gas lines ect the senser line it goes into a small hole in the back of the fridge but cannot see the end thanks mal b

If it is the same as mine was, if you look inside the fridge you should see the white tube (from memory) coming through the back of the fridge, the tube will run along the behind the evaporator
plate and the bulb at the end of the tube will be attached to the evaporator plate.
