danda, The under sink problem sounds like a ventilation/installation issue, whereby the hot air from the condenser is directed to under the sink.

The mirror is a common problem with some mirrors; what kind do you have? I put up with with various mirrors for 10 years then lashed out on a set of Clear View. Expensive, but worth it.

t sure if the Prado has the same system but my Patrol had a plate under the hinge that the mirror swings on. If you remove the plate (if it's there) and tighten up the three screws that make the hinge tighter!

Is the Air Con Compressor unit under the sink?

Sounds a bit excessive, you'd think that the thing would exhaust the hot air out through the external vents. Is the condenser fan working? Can you feel hot air coming out the external vents.

Here is the installation Manual, Might be worth a read. There's a couple of comments about heat escaping etc.

The best mirrors I have found are Camec with a suction cap that's go on existing mirror the view could be better but they don't blow in or fall off.Allso cheap and easily stored,no problem after 4 year.

Hi,
Check that the double sided tape gasket between the Condenser Unit and wall hasn't moved or dropped out and letting hot air exhaust to the interior instead of out through the vent.

I had the same problem. It is annoying.
I tied a length of blind cord (thin nylon string) to the mirror and tied it to the bulbar, loosely. I had a small piece of shock cord that I put on one of the string ends too, so that when the mirrors moved the shock cord cushioned the first part of the pull and then pulled it back in place.

Put a hook on each end when you know it works and the installation each morning takes no time at all.

It will bring a satisfied smile to your face each time a truck fails to dislodge your mirror!

HI
keep the condenser and evaporator clean and as previously mentioned ,the gaskets/foam /duct work must be in place .
If further inspection is required once a connection by refrigeration gauges this will tell a story.

cheers
