Thanks to all who replied to my question about back fire blowing up my filter box .
I think I may have fixed it ??? I have repaired it with a product called
KNEAD ITauto fix by SELLEYS will see how long it lasts ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU 2 ALL WITH YOUR ADVISE ...

Is that the 2 part one that goes like a black/
grey putty??
if so used it on the crank case on a TT600 once, lasted 4 yrs... probably still on it today... stuff goes hard as steel, even a prick to sand or file.

grey in color . I found it very easy to work with.

well hope it lasts and costed only $14 bucks , I priced a new box from Nissan $390.00

Gunnie, missed the thread with a netshyq virus...presuming you run gas, think about doing something like drilling holes in the inlet pipe and putting eleastic rubber over them (like a piece of wetsuit sleve) or alternatively drilling them the size of those gas cylinder port push in plastic plugs (and keep a few spares)
