Don't know about it being a bad rap for Lotus, but for the Agent, YES.

To help we'll need to know what type of Hot water services, fridge, water tank set up etc.

Other than that, go and grab the dealer and spend a couple of hours with them whilst they detail it all.

I'm going to state the obvious and suggest you grab the manuals on all the stuff in the van ( they will be in a drawer somewhere ) and sit down and read them .

If you don't understand something , read it again.......

Check things as you read, and in no time, you'll be more informed than the ones who sold you the van !!

We bought a New Age caravan this year. All the electrical information you could possibly want (including a circuit diagram) was in its own folder supplied by the installer, Caravan Electrical services in Melbourne. Then there was a drawer full of manuals for all the appliances and compliance paperwork.
Surely Lotus would provide something similar.

We picked up our new off limits in Sept 15, you should have been given handover by the dealer, but read the manuals, its not hard to understand and have worked out all our electrics etc

It's not much consolation I know, but our handover took about 4 hours. I had a video camera in my hand all the time recording everything.
