Could anyone assist with the identification of this flower. It was located in the Merriwa area.
Flower
The image is similar to the Darwinia biflora. The located species has the following differences to the Darwinia biflora
The flowers have a large fringe
The flowers are facing downward
Your assistance with the identification would be appreciated.

Hi AJ,
The wildflower section is playing up at the moment (David has been notified) but I have posted a Darwinia there that looks very much like your photo. I took the photo in the
Goulburn River NP on a
sandstone ledge. I have tentatively ID'd it as D. leptantha but I do recall that that was a difficult one to track down, and keying out involved features that dont show in my not-to-flash photo. So I could be wrong - I'm open to suggestions.
Cheers,
Val

We are heading there early next year Val. When was the photo taken? Have to keep the eyes open. That is a beautiful flower.
