In addition to any wisdom accessed here (I'm sure there will be), suggest you join Landcruisers Online [ Lcool..... free membership......a dead set, global, fountain of knowledge on every LC issue that matters. BUT.....once in, search first....that topic has been covered already.

Why do people do it. Cheap stuff for important info. It's a wonder some dont get photos printed on tissue paper.Well it is cheaper.

Spend a quid. It's worth it for your maps. Especially when remote and by remote I mean NOT on bitumen or made roads.

Same as the SD card for the camera - quality and reliability before cost.

Who would know what the OP is asking for given he can't even be bothered investing more than 3 words in his question. So far the time spent in answering has been 10 times that of the OP given the lazy attempt to ask a question.

Some people can't be saved from themselves...

It is very hard to treat these questions seriously. My bet is that he never even returns to read the replies. Too much effort.

Because Toyota charge that and not all Tomtoms have free maps.

As you cant copy the cards they use you will have to fork out or go without.

Simples Next time dont get a factory GPS and you can buy a Tom Tom and get free ???maps

Remember the maps are free for what Tomtom perceives as the life of the unit. Not for the rest of YOUR life. Could only be four years or so.
