Howdy all. Just a reminder regarding the get together on the Murray near Berri over the June Long Weekend. For those intersted in coming along, we will be camping on private property just downstream of Lock 4. Sat arvo we'll take a drive up along the northern end of the Border track from the Highway up to the Customs House and back down to Paringa and our campsite. Sunday, we'll take a run out to the Sunset National Park to have a look out there.
You can come earlier or stay longer if you wish. It is bush camping.
If your a member, contact me via Member's message or get my E-addy by clicking on my rig pic. I'll send you instructions on how to find the camp site from there.

Is this an open invitation to all?

If so, Soft Roader or Delica?

I promise to behave........

It is an open invite and you are invited to come along on one condition. You have to bring along your sense of humour. Not that you need it but it adds to the frivolity.

Plenty of dress shops in Berri, and hairdressers and beauty shops as well but WE ALL KNOW that SHE DOESN'T NEED THAT.

WWOTW does not get out enough. I can't imagine that she will come - though she might be tempted to see what our host is lining up for - since she started that thread. Might bring one of those packs she has heard about!

Are there any shops around that sell recycled jewelry - opal rings and that sort of thing?

No andrew, you are quite safe to come. I can assure you that those kind of shops get done over regularly and nothing gets overlooked.

Des and Pesty,
We'll be there just to provide a recovery vehicle for any tojos that go lame (eg: Des, if you happen to run over a pebble again and break another from axle/diff etc LOLOL). I'm sure if I'm nice to him, Pesty will give me a copy of the map you send him. However, I'm also a bit concerned that he could end up giving me a different map which could see me end up somehwere other than where the rest of you are gunna be.
If Ian Bee is coming along with all his water containers full, none of the rest of us will need to worry about drinking-water for the whole weekend!!!LOL
Looking forward to it.......
Cheers,

Hey Roachie,

I am sure Mr Lexic can send you the GPS coordinates but they would probably end up being in the middle of Lake Eyre somewhere. I am sure there would be some kayakers out there that need a recovery!!!

Hello Mr Lexic
Jen is wondering what sort of balmy weather can we expect down at Lock 4. Should she bring her togs and if we bring a really long extension lead, will it reach.
What sort of temperatures do you get overnight. Will it be around zero? Not that she is nervous!

Hello And & Jen,
Jen should definitely bring her togs although the nudist beach at Barmera is not far away.
If your extension cord is 8k's long and large enough to cater for voltage drop, bring it by all means.
Overnight temperatures won't be a worry. Have a large amount of firewood on standby and of course she has you to cuddle up to. I'm sure you won't even need to bring blankets for her.
