Inner Spring Mattress for CT

Victorian Camper Trailers in Packenham is the dealer for Kimberley Kampers.

Kimberley has a thin (4 or 5 inch or so) queen-sized inner spring mattress for their Karavan.

That might be suitable, but it won't be cheap.

Marty I had a custom innerspring mattress made for my camper unit by "Made to Measure" in QLD. I'd heard a lot of good things about them from fellow EO members. I was very limited in height so had them make it to the minimum height and also covered the bottom and sides in breathable heavy duty gauze like fabric to allow it to breath. It's been a bloody good investment and a top product. I don't consider it expensive by any stretch and delivery to Melbourne was only an additional $70.

I've used it for over 11 months in the camper over the past 5 years and have been exceptionally happy with it.

The label on the innerspring mattress in our Trakmaster van says it was made 'for' NCE (Stanley Drive, Somerton Vic.....may be in your area.....NCE site)....it doesn't actually say who made it though......seems good quality to me .....they may carry a simple rectangular fixed mattress in your size....ours has a flip up and down head section that allows the mattress to be shorter when not in use - cut off corners at the foot too for improved passing access.....this would all mean $$$ I'm sure.

With some CTs you have a height limit so work out what that is first.

We too had good results with Made to Measure. Reinforced edges plus vent holes made them a cut above the rest at the time.

We had a purpose designed and made (queen size, 4" springs, padding on one side only) mattress to fit a "Piggy Back" camper done by Slumberworld in Torquay Rd Grovedale a Geelong suburb. Cant remember price but do know that it is very comfortable and the best modification we have done. No connection just VERY satisfied customer
