I just purchased a Projecta IC700 charger to maintain my 105ah wet cell deep cycle battery, as the car doesn't get driven much. The battery says on top, Maximum charge 14.4V but the charger on 'WET' setting charges to 14.7V even up to 16V according to the book. The AGM setting goes to a max of 14.4V. Is the 14.7 safe? Or should I put it on AGM setting? I measured it with the multi meter & it was over 14.6V.

Normally that isn't a problem for wet cells, but if it said on the battery 14.4, then put it on AGM setting.

I was just reading the FAQ's in the projecta book, it says you can select a different battery chemistry if the voltages match the manufacturers recommendations. So I've put it on AGM.
