As long as you satisfy the eligibility criteria as indicated on the Mysattv website, registration is free. I renewed my traveller's registration a few days ago and it took all of 10 seconds to get confirmation that it was renewed for a further 6 months. Very simple process.

Yep, very easy, just a bit of a PITA having to renew it every 6 months, but pretty good for a free service. Something our government got pretty right!

Yeh its not a free service ( mutter mutter mumble)....... the cost is built into the price of the decoder when you buy it.

But the regestration is free.
