Hello, we have an Ironman awning fitted to our Patrol and would be interested to hear from anyone who has fitted the mosquito net attachment. Any feedback?
Thank you
Kind regards
Chris

I have a Tigerz 11 awning with the mosquito net attachment and I'm sure it is very similar. I have only used mine once because I couldn't be bothered putting it on. It works fine but it's amazing how much more restrictive it feels and that's with only me in there. Awnings are great because you can walk under from any angle but with the net on its zip and unzip all the time and pretty cluttered inside if you have several people, tables and chairs. I use an instant up 3x3 screen shelter now if I need bug protection because I can move the car without having to pack it up.

Yeah, we have one. It all works fine, although, as described above, it does get a bit cramped, but as somewhere to prepare lunch or enjoy a drink in the evening away from the flies & mozzies it's great.

We have a similar awning setup on the tug, with an insect mesh attachment. It's just the two of us most times. We find it excellent as a bug-free out door dining room, or reading room for the missus. Inconvenient if you need to keep jumping in your car to go somewhere, but that's the case with any awning on any car.
