A heads up for anyone catching the Spirit of Tasmania in the very near future, not sure how much damage has been done, but might be something worth following if you are travelling on it soon.

Good news and
well done Spirit of Tasmania. The repairs of Spirit of Tasmania II have all been completed and approved by relevant authorities. Spirit of Tasmania II will be sailing again tomorrow, Sunday 17 January, just in time for the scheduled double sailings.
