OziExplorer - 20 years

Hello

Everyone loves a milestone - Screenshot from OziExplorer's website.

I have been using it for 18 years (work and play) and must say I'd be lost without it (no pun intended).

Cheers
Greg
I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Hi Greg,
It's a great package, I've been using it since 2002.
The best upgrade I did was when I got a little PDA and was able to use it with moving map and waypoints - that was pretty cool. Prior to that I could only plan on my home PC, and upload wpts to my little Etrex.
The Andriod package is great to, where the screen designer gives me most of what I want on my tablet.
I'm still discovering new features now and then - One was Project Manager, which you Greg told me about on this forum a year or so back.
Cheers
Alan

Looking for adventure.

I have had a copy on something electronic since the early days and still love the product. When we sailed from Copenhagen to Oslo last year they had a moving map on the Cruise ship and guess what??? It was running OziExplorer!!

Des Even gave me a new access code for nix when I changed over from one Andriod tablet to the new one. Great service and happy to support him

How time flies. Remember those late night, I mean early morning, sessions.

Good on you

Congrats to Ozi, its a great product and many thanks to Des - I started using it in 2004, I'd be lost without it.

Absolutely wonderful product, nothing comes close to it. It's certainly gotten me into (and out of) some wonderful places I'd never otherwise have found. Sincere thanks Des Newman.

Quite simply an amazing product. Knowing exactly where you are all the time gives you great confidence. I dare say I would not have gone to so many places without Oziexplorer and would have missed out on seeing so many great places. It is incredible how you can be driving along for many hours on a track in the middle of a desert and you can say just around the next corner there is a road junction, and sure enough there is. I can see that as I get older I will be travelling the outback a lot longer because of the confidence and safety that this product gives you. Des for PM I say.
